Just a small example of instant gratification. With a bit of warm weather over the past few days, I made my first flower purchase. My favorite flowers are geraniums, red in particular. But for now these purple pansies will have to do. They make such a difference already. I will add flowers as the season progresses, but for now I am grateful for my little patch of pansies.

Blooming flowers just make you happy to walk past them don't they? It is time for me to get my flower bed ready for some plantings. Lots of weeds are growing in it this year.

Pansies are wonderful to bring a little color...I love them! I love geraniums too(one of my all time favorites), and look forward to getting some out in my yard!
We are having "Dogwood Winter," so the Pansies will do just fine for now!

I love pansies to.I am still trying to get use to living in fl.were there are flowers all year long.It is nice to see color instead of all white.
