Friday, I made a few more paper projects. I bought this journal at Target a few months back and I have wanted to cover it since then. Right now I seem to be in a vintage floral phase. So, I am going to go with it for a little while longer.

OH I know it is perfect for gifts .. always good to have a collection started then they can't go wrong ~~ I have a sister in law who used to collect pigs (:) she had a zillion of them ~!!
hugs Patty..
Denise, are you using botanical prints from a book to get the images of the roses? I have a hard time cutting up real books. I've bought quite a few at the thrift store for that purpose but wind up unable to actually cut them! haha
I am using the prints from a book I bought at Barnes and Noble. I watched it, until it was on clearance. I bought it thinking I would frame a few prints. But so far I have only cut the pages into pieces. The flowers are too pretty and should be seen....just get in there and cut, cut ,cut. I have felt bad about destroying the book but I also like what I am making.
I was just reading your post and thinking --'Great photos' I love her camera.." Don't seel your pics short... Maybe you are too hard on yourself....
