This little table sits in the middle of my kitchen, it has so for many years. The base is from an old sewing machine. The table cloths change with the seasons. The bottom piece is upholstery fabric that seems to hop from table to table. The red floral fabric I bought to make pillows. Well, I guess that didn't happen. I think the colors should take me far into the winter season!

I like the way you mixed the two fabrics. Having a spot to change on a whim or with the seasons makes for a happy home, if you ask me. I like to re-invent my mantel every now and then.
Love that fabric. I'm sure that you will be inspired with another fabric for pillows. Hope you are feeling better.

It's a lovely table decor. My sister is making me a runner using the very same tones as your bottom piece. I can't wait for it to be finished. It will go on the ottoman when food is being served.
Your kitchen table looks cozy and comfy...I, definitely, could sit there, totally content, with a nice cup of hot sweet tea.
