This little snow woman is made from one of those unfinished wooden cut outs. I papered it in a cute cream colored paper. I like the distressed look for Christmas. But I also love glitter. In this day and age you can mix anything, so she is a bit of both. I wish I could wear a hat like that, but I am not a hat person. I would like to be, just not a good look for me. However, she wears it well.
I bought these bags last year at an "After Christmas Sale". They were 10 for $1.00. I bought 20. I am amazed I found them and I wonder why I only bought 20. Most likely, I did not want to look at another green or red thing. There is that certain point when you say no more!!! I just stamped a border on the bottom. I love the border stamp and the white ink. I have to find more things to do with them.
Your Christmas crafts are wonderful! It's so much fun to get ready for the holidays! Gotta love that glitter!

I love that Christmas owl! Not a bird normally associated with Christmas, but with your creative flair, he looks like Mr. Christmas!
ReplyDeleteDenise, you are the hardest working, most productive crafter I know. Under your Christmas tree will be oh-so-decorative this year.
ReplyDeleteWOW! These are all very pretty impressive! You have been given a great talent. I wish that I had it!

I would love one of those bags! (I wouldn't even care if there was a gift inside - I'm coveting the snowman and owl!) You are so creative!
ReplyDeleteGoodness!!! You sure do know how to present a gift!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea of papering those cut-outs, never would have thunk of that. You are a very creative lady indeed.
The owl is adorable...Love all that you do...

ReplyDeleteI just love those bags! That stamping, you did, looks so elegant. Wonder why I've never thought of that????
ReplyDeleteI'm with you, I wish I were a hat person, too. I do wear baseball caps, sometimes, when I'm outside for a while.....
Blessings,
