I have a book, full of pretty pictures of flowers. I bought it last year, knowing I could use the pictures for crafting. I have not been disappointed whenever I have used the pictures, they are outstanding.
Lately, almost every gift shop I go to, I see a lot of coasters. I had a few unused tiles and a few minutes, let's see how the tiles and the flower pictures would look like together? Well, I think I went a little overboard the past few days. I made quite a few, I love them. How many coasters can I use? Not this many! So, I have decided to make them for Christmas gifts.
I wasn't sure how the white flower would look, but I love it!
I backed them with some leftover cork I had from a previous project.
I will let you know how I package them.
I was thinking about a set of four, wrapped in pretty ribbon!
Thanks for visiting!

the coasters are just lovely! your flower pictures are so vivid and pretty. they will make the perfect gift :)
Did you tear the edges and ink them? I especially love the ones with the red flowers. This will make a very popular gift I'm sure.
GORGEOUS - but I wouldn't expect any less from you my friend. I've been meaning to try this myself - but like so many other projects - I've never gotten around to it!
You did an awesome job! Love those FLOWERS! Cathy
Every post you do is so creative and artistically done! I can't wait to see what you come up with next. These coasters are beautiful and would look perfect tied with a ribbon.
