It would be a crime not to share the candy corn treats with others! And I seem to be enjoying the treats a bit too much! Therefor, the candy has to go and go now! Candy corn is big in our house! It would not be Halloween without it!
I covered this cute little paper
mache box with my new favorite paper and cut out a rather sweet little pumpkin. Filled the box with purple shredded paper and tied a few pieces of calico on the handle. Oh, then I added the candy.
The candy corn filled box has been delivered to my parents. I get my sweet tooth from my father.
I wanted to show a close up picture of the purple calico, but the picture just does not do the color justice. But, the candy peaking out does look sweet!
Thanks for visiting!

I love it... thank goodness I am the only one in my house that likes candy corn so I just don't buy it.
It love candy corn, too! Our oldest daughter said that she can't stand for us to have it in the house because the smell and just looking at it makes her sick (a few too many, too many times!)
But I agree with you, it's just not fall without them!!!
You always package everything so precious! I know that your parents just loved their sweet gift!
Blessings,
Julie
Your family and friends must love seeing you coming Denise. You are so sweet to share your goodies with everyone.
Your projects are always the best, so whimsically colorful!
my Mom always LOVED the smell of candy corn. So, when the weather turned colder and it was always about this time of year, I always took her a bag. We would laugh and eat them till we were almost sick. :D
