Dish Towel

I was finally able to find an hour to make something yesterday. I bought this red and white towel at "The Dollar Store" last week. I thought it would be the right size to make a small bag.


I always have leftover fabric from other projects. I love red and blue together!

I folded the towel in half, cut 2" of the sides to use for straps. Then just sewed up the sides. My daughter would like to learn how to sew, this would be a great first project. It was very easy.
Today is going to be a beautiful day in Rhode Island. High in the 80's. I see a trip to the garden shop to buy a few pansies. I love purple pansies!

    Cute! I will be buying some pansies soon too...I will try to find the pinkish purple ones and orange to go witht the color theme of the shower (which is only 10 days away!). Enjoy your warm and beautiful weather!!!
