Bake Something New

I wanted to do more baking this year. Try new things. I started off with a bang. I was baking cookies, scones and muffins. Then not so much! I will admit I am a recipe collector. I use to buy cookbooks, now I just find recipes online and put them in my favorites. What I liked about this recipe was that I had all the ingredients.

Let me just say I was not disappointed with Granny's Chocolate Cobbler. I made it for dessert last night. It is like eating a brownie all covered in warm melted chocolate. It sat on the counter while we were eating supper so I did warm it up a few seconds before I put the ice cream on top. There is something about the warm chocolate and cold ice cream. I am going to make this again. It was very good!
