Saturday afternoon I was looking on the Internet for creative quotes. I needed some inspiration. I found this quote by Henry David Thoreau, "The world is but a canvas to the imagination". My creative world is very small, I want to try new things. I am getting too comfortable and bored with my creations.
Sunday I found the same quote in a bag of cut outs I bought last week. Is it a sign? I'm not sure but I did have fun putting this card together. However, after I made this I tried something new. It took a long time to make and when it was finished, I did not like it at all. Maybe, I should stick with what I know. I sat at the kitchen counter all afternoon and had only this to show for it, not a great feeling. I am not sure if I will change all that much, but I do love the quote!
Thanks for visiting!

It's really hard stepping outside your own box with artsy projects. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it.
We are getting a blizzard here starting tomorrow...I guess it's my turn to be snowed in!
Hugs!

I like what you do! It is hard to do something new. We are use to what we are comfortable with, and not use to seeing a different style coming from our hands. It takes me several tries at something new and sometimes I end up putting it away and saying it's not for me. Keep going and trying. It will happen!

I love it! I think it is fabulous! For sure, diff from your usual style, but that is what makes it wonderful too! And yeah, kismet on finding that quote two times! :)
