My daughter is a huge Harry Potter fan! Right from the beginning she was hooked on Harry. Me not so much. However, let's celebrate Harry's birthday. I made a pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting. Let's just say that the frosting is so good that I will have to skip supper tonight and maybe breakfast in the morning. The recipe is from Martha Stewart's, "Everyday Foods".

I'm a fan of Pumpkin Cake and Harry Potter. Today was JK Rowlings birthday! Happy Birthday to all!
Heck, all thats missing from this celebration is the Butterbeer, gillywater and nose biting teacups.....(your daughter will know what it all is)
Yum pumpkin cake and the little owl is so cute. Your daughter must have loved all this!
Awwwwwwww, wish I was there to help you celebrate! I'm a huge HP fan. My niece was getting lots of flack from family when she started reading the books, I bought one to read to see what all the hubbub was about and was instantly hooked. That cake looks delish. AND love the little owl clip! Stinkin cute!!!!!! : D You know me, love playing with clothes pins.

There is no denying the phenomenon that is Harry Potter! I just wished I would of had a few bottles of butterbeer or gillywater on hand! I hope they are beverages...with Harry Potter, who knows!
I was sent an email from Barnes and Noble about a new book written by JK Rowling to be released in early December 2008. A book of tales...again I am not a HP authority.
Oh the owl is so cute! And so very very "Harry"!
