Went to the beach with my daughter today. Brought some of my favorite things with me, still trying to finish this book so I can move onto another. Carla Neggers is a mystery writer. Most of her stories take place in New England, so I find them very interesting. It was very hot at the beach! The temperature was in the eighties and not a breeze or a cloud in the sky. I mean hot! So much for cooling down by the shore. Oh well, we still had a nice day.

Lovely beach..glad you got to go to it(:) hugs Patty
Sounds like a wonderful way to spend a summer day. I fell behind on visiting your blog and had to read some past posts. You have been busy! I really liked that brown fabric. And the peak at your red couch. I either want to have a slipcover made in red for my couch or get a new red couch.
Wow...I'll have to pick up one of her books...being a New England native..I love reading stories that take place there...takes me back!
Have a great day!
Hugs,
Robin
It was a nice day at the beach. The weather has been great this summer. We could use a little rain, but other than that I can not complain, about the weather!
We have had that red couch for about six years. It goes with almost anything!
I have read many books by Carla Neggers, some take place in Texas and Tennessee but most feauture a town in New England.
Yup the jeans an a T plus flipflops cutest thing.. Love white tops .. a white shirt with sleeves rolled up and collar up is always good looking too.. ~~Sundresses oh I have always loved them ,so cool an like you say ''nothing to have to match with''
.. well hope you are really loving your summer..I love to go barefoot in the cool grass(:)
big hugs Patty
You definitely had a better day than I did. I stood in a half hour line to return a can of spray paint!
Even without a breeze, a day by the sea beats all...
It looks like it was a beautiful day. Did you cool off in the water?
I did not cool off in the water. I do not like taking that long walk in my bathing suit. Next time I will go in the water.
