Red Primrose

Earlier today I felt a little blue. The winter can do that to me, I am sure I am not alone in this. So,I started doing my usual morning routine. Maybe, it is the constant washing of my floor that is making me cranky. Throw a load of clothes in the washer. Do the few dishes in the sink. I am getting crankier. I put down the mop, actually it is a Swifter, I do not usually have one good thing to say about a cleaning product but, I love my Swifter! I plug in my glue gun and decided to paper the clay pot I bought yesterday.

I start to feel much better! I love to make things! Is there anything wrong with that? I love paper, felt, buttons, fabric, ribbons and I could not live without my glue gun! The floor is getting washed. It is not an option. But I guess my crafting isn't an option either. It's what I do.

I bought the flower at Lowe's yesterday. It was so pretty I had to buy it! Red flowers are my favorite! How could I not believe that spring is coming when I see this plant everyday.

EVERYTHING is GORGEOUS! I wish we were neighbors so you could teach me how to make all these paper crafts. So bright and valentiny, love it. Hugs, Rosemarie

So very bright and cheerful...the winter weather has been giving me some cabin fever so I've been doing a little tweaking...wish I could have found a primrose or two.

I almost stopped at the nursery today to buy myself a little happy flowering plant but it was getting late so I headed home. Very cute pot! It looks very happy! I need to craft too because I am cranky and sick of winter! I am sooo tired of cleaning up melted black snow with salt!

Have a crafty weekend!

LOVE that. What a cute pot and that flower is gorgeous. I wish we were neighbors so you would let me have that! LOL. I'd give you a cup of coffee for it. And if we were neighbors, we would never get any house stuff done cause we would only be making things! LOL.

Routine is often a bore.
I broke my swiffer mop the other day and have gone back to the mop and bucket. I change it up by alternating the scented waters I use on my mop.
What a lovely pot :)

A prettily decorated pot of red flowers is just the thing to get you through the final days of winter.

I'm hosting craft week over on my blog. Also, I'm asking people to show their creative spaces....even if it is the kitchen counter...come over and join the inspiration.

Morning Denise - your flower pot and your beautiful red primrose are jus' beautiful - as always. We are growing primrose this year in our greenhouse - first time ever - but they take forever to get to selling size (6months) wheewwww.

You jus' have a beautiful way of making everything look extra special.

P.S. - Forget the floor - Lord willing, it will be there when you are done crafting.

Valentine Blessings!!! Cathy
