Beautiful Colors

Spring is in the air here in Rhode Island. Not for long though, there is snow in the forecast for tomorrow. Really, Mother Nature if you can hear me cut it out with the snow! I love these bright colors. A few years ago my entire downstairs was painted a beautiful yellow. Red and blue decorations, pretty floral curtains. I really miss that yellow! Now, the walls are painted a gold/mustard color, very rustic. It is a great color for fall and winter but when spring comes around, I start to miss that yellow. Ah, regrets.

There has been more progress with the napkins. One more to go and I will have four pretty napkins, that will never ever be used. Next time, I will do pillowcases, at least they can go on the bed, even if just for show.

My daughter's boyfriend went on a snowboarding trip to Utah and brought me back a set of rooster salt and pepper shakers. Again, maybe to pretty to use.
Thanks for visiting!
Have a wonderful Sunday!
I want my hour back!

I love those bright colours too. Your new wall colour sounds intriguing, I wonder if you can show a photo? I know how hard it is to get wall colour right in a photo.

The salt n pepper shakers are very attractive. Hope that forecasted snow doesn't arrive....We had rain all day here yesterday and now all the last of the snow and ice is gone. It just might snow again though....one never knows what March has in store.

Love those napkins! You could stack them in a bowl and leave them on the counter....

Those rooster salt and peppers are great - you know me and my rooster fetish!

Hope your spring comes soon.

Denise your napkins look great - one more project almost down for the count. Recipe box - ADORABLE!!! And I'm right there with you on the yellow. I went from yellow to khaki - so NOT me - it's gotta go. I need my sunshine back!!!! Happy Sunday! Cathy

Your napkins are coming along so prettily! I love the new header on your blog and all the bright colors. I have been gravitating to the brighter colors too, even in clothes (so not me! But I bought some anyway!).

Have a wonderful night!!!

Denise, your table setting looks very "south of France." It is so bright and cheery, it should brighten up any snowy day!

I love the napkins and the salt and pepper shakers. So colorful! I always enjoy the extra hour in the fall but hate when they take it back in the spring. Oh well... at least we get to enjoy that extra sunlight!

Take Care,
Debbie
