New Lamp in the House

I bought this lamp today to put near my craft table. There is only one window in the room so there is not a lot of natural light. The base of the lamp is black and the shade is brown. Last week I saw a floor lamp at Pier One it cost $175.00. I really liked it, but $175.00 was not what I was planning on spending.

This is the before mentioned Pier One lamp. I think the one I bought has the same sort of feel to it. I would not of been happy with the white shade. So add another $15.00 to the Pier One lamp and now it would of cost me $190.00. I am happy to say the lamp I bought cost $52.00 and I don't feel like I just settled for it, I really like it.

Now, if I can just find the time to get in there and make something. I may just curl up on the couch have a cup of coffee and read a book. Either one would be fine with me!
Thanks for visiting!

The lamp makes the room look comfy and cozy. I can't work without plenty of light. You should have plenty now to be able to see to make all kinds of fantastic stuff.

You are so smart..I love finding a bargain, matter-of-fact I rarely buy anything unless it is on sale. You have been working on projects all week, I hope you join me tomorrow for Project Friday. Love what you did with the stool. Hugs, Rosemarie

I love finding things like that...almost what I wanted but cheaper! I like the brown shade better than white too!

Good bargain. I like the shade on the lamp you bought. Now that you have more light, I'm sure you won't be able to resist sitting at you craft cornor and making something new and wonderful.
Blessings,
Debbie

Love your creating corner...

I think you better hurry back to the store for that fabric... I see an apron in the making... please, be sure to share.

Thank you for being so concerned about me... what a blessing it is for being thought of.

Hoping you a Wonderful, Productive Weekend, Pamela

You made a great choice on the lamp and at such a great price. I love when that happens. I just want to say how wonderful your creative space is and how organized, peaceful and inviting it looks.

The best part is that you can close the door on it. (Not that you will make a mess!) It's just that life happens sometimes during creativity and it is good to be able to leave it for later.

Your blog is so pleasing to visit. Please don't stop.
