Believe

I believe that someday I will feel like myself again, I'm just not sure when. But for now, I need to be busy, keep my mind occupied. I always feel better when I am creating something. Yesterday, I noticed that pansies were out at our local garden shop. Purple pansies are one of my favorite flowers. They look so delicate, but they are one of the first spring plants available here in New England. Today, I bought a few clay pots to paint. Hopefully, they will be painted and have pansies in them in time for Easter Sunday. I am sure my Mom will like them. I hope I can get them done.
Thanks for visiting!

This is my first visit to your blog and I think it is quite beautiful. I am soon to be 47 years old and am struggling as you say you are and found comfort reading your words here. I hope you get through this challenging time in your life. I just take one day at a time and try to enjoy the small things each day. I hope this coming year brings you some peace and like your other blogger I pray God will be with you each day.

You are a crafty grrly. I love the scripture that the boys and I went over on the way to school today. Pslam 38:4

Delight thy self in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.

Keep crafting, keep making the beauty of God shows through your work.

Denise - it's good to have you back even though I know you are struggling with how to cope right now. God has given you a true gift in your art - use it to help you cope and I'm sure your brother would want you to do the things you love. Praying for you friend. I wish I was close enough to give you some of my pansies ((hugs))Cathy

Hang in there honey! When I lost my Mom, I found solace in just being in the studio....regardless of what I was doing. If my hands were busy, it calmed my mind. Take it one day at a time.

thoughts and hugs,
