Tea Time

This little sewing project has been on my to-do-list for about a year now. Sunday, I searched through my fabric and found these cute leftover pieces. It was my first attempt at making a tea bag holder, so that meant making a pattern. Which was really very easy, it is a rectangle about the size of an over sized index card.

It can easily hold 4 bags of your favorite flavored tea. There is also enough room for a few of your favorite sweeteners. Do you have a favorite flavoured tee? You can see I prefer chai. Which is also delicious cold.

The trim adds just that little something extra.
I think this is a great idea for the tea drinker who always seems to be left out, when the world seems to be dominated by coffee drinkers. At least in the northeast, we love our coffee, whether it be hot or cold!

Thanks for visiting!

Very nice! I always throw a few tea bags into my bag and they get all mangled. This is a great solution. That cup is beautiful! An elegant way to drink tea. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for coming by and saying hi. Love that fabric you used. I think I might have a yard or two of it in my stash. Mimi
