White Tank Top

I was at Ann Taylor Loft right after Christmas. They had already started putting out their spring clothes. As tempted as I was to buy their white tank top with blue yo-yos, I knew it would be on sale soon. Then I thought I could try and make one, so last night I did.
I had a white tank from last summer, leftover blue fabric and a bottle of tacky glue. It came out rather cute. I may try to make one in another color. I made this tank just like the Ann Taylor Loft version , but I am tempted to make another one and add a few buttons and maybe a few green leaves, too.

Here is the ATL shirt. It started out at $25 and is now on sale for $15.

Thanks for visiting!

That will look very crisp and chic this summer. High fashion, without the cost. I'm just wondering if you might want to tack the yo-yos on with a little thread. Will they stay on in the wash using glue? Have fun making another one!

That's a good question about the glue. I guess I will find out. If they do not stay in place I will definitely stitch them down.
