Spring Chicks

I found these two little Easter chicks that I made last spring. They made smile last year when I made them and they made me smile again today when I put them on the top of this chest. I need to get a few more Easter decorations. Decorations that are not candy! Well, I guess I could get a few jelly beans!

It is time to look for a few new Easter recipes as well. We always have ham. I would like to find a few new things to add to the menu. I'm thinking macaroni and cheese would be a great addition. What will be on your Easter table next Sunday? Thanks for visiting!

I love the little chicks! I don't remember seeing them last year. What did you put on the chicks to make them look glittered or candied or whatever you call the finish?

I've been trying to think of something new to cook this year too. It's my turn to host for a big family lunch. Everyone will bring sides. I suppose I will cook a ham. We usually have deviled eggs, potato salad, asparagus, assorted casseroles...I might make a pretzel salad. If you come up with some good ideas, please share.

Cute chicks! In order to accommodate family, we will probably have our Easter meal on Sat. Haven't thought that far ahead....maybe I'll ask for suggestions from those that will be eating it! :-)
