Banner Card

A friend of mine became a grandmother for the first time last month. As you can tell the baby is a boy  named Matthew.

I have always wanted to make a "banner card".  I know  that after making this one I am certainly  going to be making more!  I think I could make most of the card ahead of time and just add the name when needed. Sounds like a plan.
I wrote this little note inside the card. He is the first grandchild,  I believe he will be in charge for many years
to come.

I had to make my own envelope, since the card was an odd size.  I wasn't  sure that gluing the sides would be enough for the card to arrive safely at her house.  I took out my sewing machine and stitched up the sides.   I hadn't made a card in a long time, this was certainly a fun one to make!

Thanks for visiting!

I absolutely LOVE this! I have never seen a card like this before.

Great job! Do you ever do tutorials?

How cute!!! I bet she loved it and frames it!

I haven't accomplished a single thing here. I have the stuff for the pillow and haven't even started it. My fibromyalgia is really acting up for some reason. Today I feel back to normal, thank goodness!

Have a great weekend!
hugs!

That's the cutest card I've ever seen - but of course it would be coming from you! Hope you are doing great Denise!
