Covered Coffee Can

Sunday afternoon was rather stormy in Rhode Island so I looked through a lot of magazines. I found a picture of a empty paint can that was covered with paper that an artist used to hold all her colored pencils. I had an empty coffee can so why not cover that and put my markers in it! My markers have returned and they now need a place to be other than a plastic container! I used a paper other than my favorite black and tan dotted paper. The bird is glued to a clothespin and it adds dimension to the can.

Do you make up your bird patterns? I really like the shape of this one. Your can turned out really cute.

I do usually cut my own patterns, this bird I did not. It is from a book of papers I bought at Michaels. I like the shape, too!
