Apron with cute Daises!

Thursday night my daughter and I went to Jo Ann's to pick out fabric for an apron. She wanted an apron to wear to work. I mentioned before that she is working at an art camp this summer. The apron will help keep her clothes clean! Now, how am I going to keep the apron clean? Oh, well it was fun to make. I love the cute little daises. Really, who doesn't?

What a gorgeous apron! I love the plaid with the daisies. I'm sure it will an inspiration to budding artists at the camp! Maybe a clear plastic apron could be worn over the top? ;)

What a pretty apron! Love the fabrics and ohhh those daisies...those daisies have always been a favorite! I'm guessing this sweet apron comes home even more colorful than when it left :( but I'm sure the kids love seeing it!
Have a great day!

I think I will be testing my laundry skills on this apron. It was meant to protect her clothes, so I hope it does just that!

I have never tried using fresh pumpkin before...it always intimidated me...lol! For sure there will be lots of carving and sharing of pumpkins...maybe even a "yard sale"!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Denise, if she gets paint or ink on it try treating it with Simple Green cleaner before washing. I got red printers ink out of a blue sweater set with it. I thought that was a miracle.

That is really cute and summery. The daisies add that finishing touch.

I will buy some Simple Green, I can always use a good stain remover!
I really feel like making a few aprons for presents, I love the fact that they are sooo back in style. Then again, I am not that into cooking so maybe they were never out of style!
I love the cute little daises. It's the little things that costs the most as far as sewing goes.
Maybe, I will search the notions for the best deals and buy my fabric aroung the notions!
