Parchment Paper Muffins

I bought a few food related magazines on Friday, one of them had cute muffins baked in parchment paper. I always have parchment paper on hand and bread/muffin mixes are always in my pantry. I cut the paper to fit the muffin tins and filled them 3/4 full. They did take longer to bake, about 10 minutes more. They look so cute! Not much pan cleaning needed, a bonus! I made pumpkin muffins, my family loves pumpkin muffins no matter what the season.

I bought this new mug on Friday. I thought it was the right size, for the amount of coffee I need to get going in the morning. We also love the red birds.

I plan to have this cute muffin after supper with a nice cup of chia tea. Yum!

Joni, I used parchment paper that you can purchase by the roll. I cut them into 6" squares. My muffin tins are oversized.

I often use paper muffin cups for muffins but this parchment paper looks so much more elegant!

Your banner....speaking of mint, I 'borrowed' your idea of colouring vase water and the other day I picked a bunch of mint, stuck it in a vase and dropped a few drops of blue food colouring into the water. I really liked the look of it!

But I am happy to be right where I am with my thin hair!""
