I had mentioned earlier, that it was my daughter's birthday this week and today is that day. Last night my younger daughter and I were looking through old pictures and I found this school paper, written by the birthday girl. I know it meant something to me when she wrote it, because I kept it. It means more to me today. She did love her sports right up until the ninth grade. She did graduate from art school and is thriving in her chosen profession.

"I want to be like my mom and dad. My mom's nice, kind, caring, smart, pretty and good at arts and crafts and lots more. My dad is nice, kind, caring and good at sports. I am like them both because I have many of the same qualities. I'm nice, caring, good at arts and crafts and also good at sports. They have taught me well."

Thanks for visiting!

I can imagine how that blessed you then and blesses you still. It is nice to know what they really think, isn't it?

I love this! What a sweet child!

I need to go through my box of keepsakes. It's time to read all the notes and see the school work again.

Awwwwww, that in itself is such a wonderful thing. I tried so much to instill some creativity into my nieces when they spent summers with us, always a good thing to do.

Your daughter sounds like a sweetie, you are blessed indeed.
