My daughter asked me to make a few cookies for a teachers meeting. You know I like to bake, so of course I said yes. That was on Sunday. Wednesday, I still wanted to make her the cookies I just did not feel like making them from scratch. That is when I went to the store and bought the slice and bake goodies.

You can't go wrong with these. I am thinking about having a package of them in the refrigerator at all times. But, they just look a little ordinary. It only takes a few minutes to dip them in chocolate and add a few colored sprinkles. How I wish I had one of these right now. I did follow my own advice and I have a package in the frig right now just waiting to be baked.
I hope spring has made an appearance where you live. In Rhode Island, not so much but it is brighter and the snow is gone so that's a good thing.

Are you a fan of slice and bake cookies?

Thanks for visiting!

You are sweet to take care of your daughter's baking needs! The German Choc is easy...no cooking except melting the choc. You freeze it so it is a great warm weather dessert I'll give you the recipe if your interested. Happy pie making!!

I'm still alive! I am stressed beyond belief but here. We are in the process of getting our home in MI ready to lease. What a process! I need to buy stock in bubble wrap and paint. We've been getting estimates, making repairs and packing. I'm just plain worn out. We just got back to Chicago after 4 days in MI. Going back on Friday night to start packing our POD. We "hope" to be done by Easter with this whole process. It's really hard when you can only be there a day or two at a time. Sorry this sounds like venting...guess it is in a way. Daughter is having a hard time too, she had a bad concussion when she was 16 and still at 23 has post concussion syndrome and trying to have her make an appt with a neurologist because they are learning more about this disorder. So...I think I will be back to blogging before long. Maybe with photographs instead of crafts for now. No time or energy to create!

Hope all is well with you! I'm loving your bike stamp so much! I cannot wait to get back to crafting again!!

HUGS!!

I'm a fan of ANY cookies! I use a cake mix as a base for cookies when I am in a hurry! Your cards in the previous post are so cute! I love to "color" too!
Blessings,
Lorilee

Those turned out so good....never thought about dolling em up. I LOVE those! Actually, I get the flat ones that you just pull apart and back. So easy and people always think they are homemade. LOVE em. Thanks for showing me how to make em even more special!
